Chi Omega is the largest NPC sorority, with over 429,000 members and the most collegiate chapters. While we are proud of being the largest fraternal network for women, we are even more proud of the values our Sisters exhibit every day. Chi Omega offers young women more than a social experience — it provides a supportive sisterhood, leadership development, and a network that lasts long after college. Through campus involvement, service, mentorship, and alumnae connections, members gain opportunities to grow personally, academically, and professionally.

Rather than focusing on “fitting in,” Chi Omega provides a space for our members to belong… a place for Sisters to connect with like-hearted friends who live authentically and who are there for one another when it matters.

A welcome from our New Member Educator

Hello and welcome to Chi Omega!

My name is Jenna Beavin and I'm so honored to serve as the New Member Educator for the Alpha Kappa Chapter of Chi Omega at NC State.

We are so excited that your daughter is considering becoming part of our sisterhood. Starting college is filled with new experiences, meaningful friendships, and opportunities to grow. We know how important it is to find a place where she feels like she belongs, and that is exactly what we hope every woman finds in Chi Omega.

Our goal is for each new member to feel welcomed, encouraged, and appreciated for exactly who she is. Whether it's studying together, grabbing coffee between classes, attending sisterhood events, or spending time around the house, the relationships built here quickly become one of the best parts of the college experience.

Our new member program is designed to help women build those connections while adjusting to college life. We focus on creating an environment where every member feels included, supported, and comfortable being herself.

One of my favorite parts of our program is our Sisterhood Support Teams. During each new member meeting, members spend time in small groups where they can get to know one another, ask questions, and build friendships in a more personal setting. These groups create a strong support system from the very beginning.

Another tradition I love is our Big/Little experience. Throughout the semester, new members participate in "Owl Pals" with initiated sisters, giving them the opportunity to meet women outside of their new member class. At the end of the semester, each new member is matched with a Big Sister who serves as a mentor, role model, and friend throughout college.

What I love most about our chapter is how genuinely our members care for one another. We celebrate each other's accomplishments, encourage one another through challenges, and create memories that last long after graduation.

We know sending your daughter off to college brings both excitement and uncertainty. We hope you feel confident knowing she will be surrounded by women who want to see her succeed and support her every step of the way.
